With a birch plywood core finished in luxury laminate surfaces, Contrast Tables are both sturdy and stylish. The design studio BCXSY was "fascinated by the thin line between what is real and what is unreal" when exploring the use of laminates. The material allowed them to create combinations that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. The small size is perfect as a bedside stand or even a last minute stool. It tucks inside the medium table for a nested look.
The Pacific finish uses a sustainable laminate made with reclaimed denim fibers. The unique characteristics of the fibers create a variegated navy surface, making each table a unique piece.
- Eco-friendly laminate comprised of recycled denim fiber

Sizing
The small Contrast Table happily fits in any nook and doubles as extra seating around the dining table. It's the ideal seat height.
The medium Contrast Table is the perfect, multi-purpose side table and built slightly taller to tuck the small table inside for a nested set.
In the press
For our hospitality projects, we're often looking for sculptural little side tables that can work together, compositionally with a lounge chair, but this one's also great as a plant stand - or even a stool - in a pinch.
Ming Thompson
The designers agree that the use of veneer was essential to keeping Contrast affordable, but it also enhances the table's aesthetic appeal. The veneer allowed us to use much more fantasy - there's craftsmanship in anything if it's done well.
